Thank you for joining us at our Order in the Course Dinner.

Hallandale, FL – July 30th, 2025 – The Cabanas Connection Foundation hosted its Order in the Course Dinner at Matteo’s of Hallandale, raising nearly ten thousand dollars to provide much-needed support for the legal helpline and scholarships for the next generation of attorneys. The sold-out dinner was chaired by founders Sergio Cabanas, Sebastian Cabanas, and Stephanie Cabanas, along with Co-Chair Yetzabet Bello.

Dr. Teresa Albizu served as the keynote speaker—her powerful words on leadership, purpose, and the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance deeply resonated with everyone in the room and reminded us why we do this work.

We were honored to present leadership awards to two exceptional attorneys: Santiago Cueto, who has positively changed over 100 lives since 2024, and Gianvito Grieco, recognized for impacting 50 lives since 2024. Their dedication helps us expand the spirit of our mission.

A special highlight of the evening was receiving our signed Memorandum of Understanding from Jairo Cruz of Florida National University, marking the beginning of a meaningful collaboration to further our shared commitment to education and community empowerment.

We could not have done this without our amazing supporters—Daniel Perez from Level Realty, Lauren McGee from Gulf Commercial, our trusted Divorce Lawyers, The Factory Design and Tweeds Custom Suits—who helped make the evening a success.

One of the most meaningful moments of the night was presenting our 2025 Scholarship Award to Alexandra Dominguez, a University of Miami student whose dream is to attend FIU Law and become a family attorney. The $1,000 scholarship will cover her LSAT and law school application fees, helping her take a critical step toward achieving her goals.
